Artifact Identification

The Museum of Vision offers identification services for instruments, artifacts and other material related to ophthalmic history. Services include dating, history of use and biographical information where available. Museum staff require photos in order to make a determination and may request other detailed information. Contact the museum directly with your request.

Be aware that museum staff is unable to offer appraisals or guess at a monetary value for any item. If you are interested in having an appraisal, please contact either the American Society of Appraisers or the Appraisers Association of America.
