Brise Fan with Monocular
Small yellow fan with plastic spokes covered in mirrored sequins. Silk ribbon is woven through spokes at base. Fulcrum holds a simple monocular. Date of fan has not been verified.

1 draw monocular has large ocular with black inner ring. Vertical pieces of sea snail shell line body. Slight bell shape to body.

1 draw monocular with 2 rows of vertical pieces of mother of pearl on body. Gilt edge between rows has vertical grooves as does edge of ocular. Monocular housed in wooden case with red leather, cone-shaped case with felt interior.

1 draw monocular with mother of pearl ocular and maker's mark. Porcelain on body is painted with a scene of a man and a blind-folded woman in garden.

2 draw, bell shaped monocular. Ocular stamped with mark indicating it was made in Belgium.
